Medalla Real Chardonnay is produced in Chile’s Coquimbo Region. Twenty-five percent of the wine is aged in a combination of American and French oak, remaining on its lees with weekly bâtonnage to enhance complexity, texture and palate weight. It displays a medium-intensity golden yellow colour. The nose offers expressive aromas of tropical fruit and grapefruit, complemented by subtle notes of vanilla. On the palate, generous fruit flavours are accompanied by hints of toasted almonds, while a well-balanced acidity and gentle sweetness create a harmonious, rounded mouthfeel. An outstanding Chardonnay of elegance and balance, finishing with remarkable complexity and a long, persistent finish. A perfect match for seafood-filled pasta dishes, fish, and fried seafood.
